Snowball (ID #6158742) is very curious and wants to go exploring so bad.  He is a cute 5 month old that a kind person found and brought to the shelter to keep from harms way.  He is mostly white, but has a few black hairs on top of his head and back. Snowball has already been neutered so he can go home with his Santa’s helper today!

Chubbers (ID #621417) is a big calm and loving solid blue or grey girl.  She was adopted from this shelter 7 years ago, but was recently returned as unwanted.  She is now 9 ½ years old, front declawed and spayed (long ago).  Chubbers is asking Santa to give her a loving home where she can live in comfort with care for the rest of her nine lives.  She may make the perfect lap cat!

Violet (ID #5528861) loves to stick her paws through the kennel door and get you to play with her.  She is a beautiful medium haired black and orange tortoiseshell that had kittens with her when she was surrendered.  She has now been spayed so that will no longer contribute to the pet population.  Even though she is friendly and playful, she apparently does not get along with all other cats; so it may be best if she is the only kitty in the home.

Bring home the Happyness (ID #6168047).  He is a delightful spunky and playful kitten.  He is black and white and is 4 month old.  Happyness was found as a small kitten on the street by Animal Control.  Thanks to their diligence Happyness is ready for a special person to bring him home furr-ever. 

Looking for a special home, Hawk Eye (ID #6152598) is a very quiet boy that lost his family somehow, but was saved from probable disaster by an observant Animal Control officer.  Hawk Eye needs a special person to care for him, because he is deaf, so he won’t hear children or other animals approaching.  We know at some point Hawk Eye had a home because he was previously neutered.  He is solid white and about 5 years old. 

Adam (ID #6101057) is curious and quick to scamper off to go exploring!  Adam is a darling grey and white 4 month old kitten that was surrendered with his sibling as unwanted.  Since his arrival at the shelter Adam has been neutered so he won’t grow up to leave a trail of unwanted kittens in his wake.

Be the winner with Black Jack (ID #5385524). He is a calm relaxed feline gentleman.  He is solid black except for a few stray white hairs on his neck and he is about 5 years old.  Black Jack was brought in by Animal Control and treated for some ear mites and he is just fine now.  Black Jack would be very happy to have a family or caregiver to call his own and share his tranquility with. He will soon be neutered.

Allyn (ID #6105992) was a lucky boy to be found by a person concerned for this little guy.  He is a 4 month old brown tabby that just visited the surgical staff where he was neutered.  Now Allyn has made some good friends with his kennelmates and he enjoys snuggling up for comfort and companionship.  He will be really content when gets a human companion to love and care for him.

Pumkin (ID #5808499) is a spunky and playful boy with his kennelmates.  He also enjoyed having a toy to swat around and it made his kennelmates come running too.  Pumkin is a 2 ½ year old colored orange and white with green eyes.  He was found roaming by Animal Control and he is now hoping to find his loving human before the Holidays to give him a permanent home.

3 month old Chaplin (ID #6168411) was found as a very small kitten by an observant Animal Control officer.  He is just cute as a bug in his medium length black and white coat.  Chaplin has been sharing his kennel nicely with two other kittens, playing then snuggling up together.  It won’t be long before Chaplin will be neutered.

Samantha (ID #5530937) was having a delightful time playing with the toy.  She is alert and fun loving.  Samantha was found by a concerned person who couldn’t keep her.  She is the tuxedo black and white and is a small girl at 2 years old, and she will soon be spayed.  Samantha will bring you entertainment on those cold quiet nights this winter.

Ella (ID #6057597) was a little startled by the toy coming in; she just didn’t know what to do with it, but she sure knows how to play with her kennelmates!  Ella is just 5 months old and was surrendered when they couldn’t afford to care for her.  She is listed as yellow and white and she will soon be spayed by the shelter’s veterinarian.  She’ll make a charming companion for you this winter season and for years to come.

Poor Laina (ID #4764658), she had gotten adopted, but was returned one week later when the owner found she was allergic to cats.  Laina will reach out of her kennel and sometimes “talk” to you, asking for a moments attention.  She is relaxed and loving but she would really appreciate a permanent home.  She is a grey tortoiseshell that is 2 years old now is already spayed.  She is ready to be your “Santa’s Helper” this year.

Roney (id#6070398) is a lover that is not as insistent as his kennel mate is at getting your attention.  But he is alert and notices when you come to them and appreciates some kind words and gentle scratches.  He is mostly black with a white locket on his chest.  Roney had a previous owner at some point since he is already neutered, but a nice gentleman found him and brought him to the shelter to find his family, and no one came to claim him.  Roney is 2 ½ years old and he needs you to step up to the plate and offer him a furr-ever home.

Adyn (ID #6101083) is a laid back little girl and kennelmate Orlando (ID #6066074) is pretty relaxed and unconcerned too.  Adyn is a black 4 month old that will be very content to snuggle up with you if you let her.  Orlando is a grey tabby that enjoys some playtime as well as a good rest. Adyn was surrendered as unwanted but Orlando was found by a caring Animal Control officer.  Adyn has just been spayed and Orlando has just been neutered so both of them can go home with you today.  They feel confident they will have a new permanent home for the Holidays.

Claire (ID #5650948) is a fun-loving & inquisitive brown tabby that was found by a caring Greensboro Police officer and brought to the shelter to help in relocating her to a permanent home.  Claire is just 5 months old and she is already spayed; so she could go home with you today.

Beauty is what Cover Girl (ID #6030980) is all about and this Cover Girl is no different.  She is lovely outside as well as inside.  She is calm and enjoys having some gentle scratches and petting.  She didn’t care much for a toy, prefer to just observe and relax.  Cover Girl was lucky to be found by a nice lady who wanted to help her find her owner, so she brought her to the shelter.  No one came to claim Cover Girl so now she is hopeful that you will enjoy providing a good home for her.  She will soon be spayed so that she doesn't add any unwanted or unplanned kittens to our county's surplus.

Pepper (ID #6126987) has a look like “you have got to be kidding…”!  He is sharing his kennel with Salt and does not look forward to coming close to him to get my affection.  Pepper is a 2 ½ year old grey tabby with tiger stripes.  He was found by a caring person that brought him to the shelter, but no owner came to claim him.  Pepper is going to soon be neutered.  Pepper would love to spice up your Holidays with his own sweet lovin’.

She is alert, observant and likes to move fast, this is China Doll (ID #6151404).  China Doll came to the shelter as a stray and she is very curious about everything.  She is black and white, 2 ½ years old and soon will be going to visit the surgical team to be spayed.  You can have your very own China Doll if you just hurry on down.

Colossus (ID #5570253) is a quiet and well mannered guy.  He is your typical orange tabby that wants to cat nap most of the time.  Colossus was found by an alert Animal Control person and brought into the shelter for his own safety.  He is now 4 years old and has been to meet the vet to be neutered. He would be very happy if he had a loving companion who wanted to share a home with him.

Tiffany (ID #5362386) is a very loving girl and her caregiver here at the shelter has taken a shine to her.  She is 1 ½ years old and is a very loving girl who knows how to appreciate some gentleness.  She is a calico that an Animal Control representative brought to the shelter.  Tiffany is going to be spayed soon so that she won’t have to worry over any future litters of kittens. She is a favorite of the kennel attendats.

For 3 months Silver (ID #4640002) had a new home till the new companion found that Silver was the source of her developing allergies.  Silver is a beautiful girl in a medium length grey tabby coat.  Look how confident and laid back this girl is.  She is 1 year and 10 months old and is already spayed.  Silver is sure she will attract a new permanent companion, she just is hopeful that it will be soon.

Pancho (ID #6060856) is a very nice, calm and laid back tuxedo.  He is grateful for room service & maid service provided to him since Animal Control brought him to the shelter.  He is young at just 1 year old and has many years to share his gentle love and companionship with you.  Pancho is going to be neutered very soon so that he doesn’t aide in continuing growth of unwanted pets in our county.

Mildred (ID #6221324) may be young, but she has a proud carriage.  She is curious about things, but not overly lively and mischievous.  Mildred is right at 6 months old, and orange and white tabby that was picked up by a caring Animal Control attendant.  She will so visit with the surgical staff to be spayed; ensuring that she will not add to the unwanted pet population.  Wouldn’t Mildred look wonderfully content sitting so beautifully by a warm spot in your home this winter?

Tatiana (ID #6168305) was found by a concerned person but they couldn’t keep her.  She is quiet and seems to stay to herself a bit, but we know that a caring person can bring out the love that Tatiana thinks no one wants.  She is a 2 ½ year old black and orange tortoiseshell and she will soon be spayed.  Give Tatiana the gifts of hope, love and a permanent spot in your heart and home.

Little Bit (ID#5975715) looks so hopeful.  She was also surrendered when they had too many animals (I think she had made that happen).  Since coming to the shelter Little Bit has been spayed!  She is grey, tan and white in color and on the small side for a 1 ½ year old.  Little Bit is calm and quiet and gets along with the other felines in her kennel.  She is hoping that you need just a Little Bit more at your home.

Denny (ID #6094524) is a lovely brown tabby that just needs some reassurance and TLC.  He was surrendered when other animals in the home wouldn’t accept him, so he has been through some changes recently that may have made him a bit uncertain.  He is a little over 2 years old and Denny will soon visit the shelter’s veterinarian to be neutered.

Mrs. E (ID #5613957) is calm yet a little assertive.  She really wanted to get down and roam around, go explore a little bit.  She really likes when you take a moment to rub her ears and say a kind word to her.  Mrs. E was found by Animal Control and she is about 2 ½ years old now.  Mrs. E is going to make a great loving companion for you this winter and for the years ahead. Mrs. E will soon be spayed so she will not have to worry over a litter of kittens again.

She has it all, the Yin and the Yang (ID #6121276).  Yin Yang is quiet and enjoys her cat naps.  When someone stops to share some affection with her, she is appreciative and enjoys it.  Yin Yang is low key and hasn’t been persistent in seeking out attention.  She is black and white, 6 years old, has been spayed and was surrendered when the previous owner developed allergies.  Yin Yang has not enjoyed sharing her space, so we are suggesting she be the only feline in your heart.

Confident and self assured Bosley (ID #6178210) gives you full eye contact.  He is calm and very loving so he would love to have his furr-ever home to investigate and new companion to love on.  He is almost entirely solid blue except for a white spot on his neck and tummy.  Bosley used the Animal Control truck to make his ride into the shelter so that he could find a permanent home before the winter sets in.  He will also be neutered very soon as part of his adoption fee.

Content, laid back and calm, Morris (ID #5993443) was surrendered at 5 years old as “too much responsibility”.  Morris is a handsome orange tabby with white markings around his nose, mouth and neck.  He promises that his needs are simple; water, food, and a little affection go along way to making him totally content.  Since coming into the shelter Morris has been neutered and can go home with his new best buddy today.

Tia Dalma (ID #4882890) is grateful for the relief the shelter is providing her. She was found enduring the heat out on the streets by Animal Control; so the cooler air, the readily available food and water, and the kindness shown to her is so appreciated at her age.  She is a senior at 10 years old and is so hopeful for a compassionate companion to spend her “golden years” with.  Tia Dalma is especially going to appreciate being spayed after all these years.  She would love to have a settled quiet person to call her own.

Pita (ID #5975550) is an alert and active grey tabby.  She was very quick to notice the feathers and immediately wanted to play with them.  Pita is now 1 ½ years old and she was surrendered would they could no longer keep her.  She is not very social to other cats so she should be the only feline in your home.  Pita is going to be spayed soon.

Cali (ID #5670522) is just lovely in her medium length orange and black calico colorings.  Unfortunately Cali had to be surrendered when a landlord had objections to a pet.  Cali was spayed bythe shelter's surgical staff and is a nice laid back girl.  She is just 1 ½ years old and would love to make a companion to you for years to come.

Muffin (ID #696246) is quietly sharing her kennel nicely, but she was returned after a 2 week adoption because the new owner said the pets at the new home wouldn’t accept her.  Muffin is a 2 ½ year old grey tabby that was previously spayed and her front paws are declawed.  So she should be an inside cat only in her new home.  Muffin just wants to be accepted and loved, to share a little sweetness with you.

Jane (ID #5503162) takes her time coming up to see who is visiting.  She is not scared, just deliberately unhurried to check out the activity.  Jane is a black and orange tortoiseshell that is 6 months old.  She is another lucky girl that was kept from potential disaster by an observant citizen spotting her.  Jane will soon be spayed so that she doesn’t have litters of kittens to face uncertainty like she did.

Travis (ID #6022089) wants security and comfort; to know that he can trust the friendship with you to keep him safe and happy.  This boy was providing for himself on the streets, but with the help of Animal Control he is relieved that he no longer has to be on guard all the time.  Travis is tricolored, looking like a brown tabby with white markings, he is 3 years old and he has just been to visit with the surgical where he was neutered.

Cream (ID #6055830) of the crop, he is!  Cream is so laid back and relaxed, having not a worry in the world.  He is appreciative of his room and maid service, after scrounging for himself on the street.  Animal Control did Cream a favor by bringing him to the shelter.  He is deserving of finding a forever home where he will be loved and cared for.  Cream is orange and white, 3 years old and will be getting neutered very soon.

Little Nick (ID #6202503) was surrendered at almost 2 months old as too much responsibility.  Nick is a furry little boy who does play, but he has a lackadaisical personality and just wants to lay back and snuggle up a good deal of the time.  Nick has a medium length solid black coloring.  This little snuggle bug is going to visit the shelter’s veterinarian very soon to be neutered.

Smokey (ID #5978863) is solid blue in a medium length coat.  She is a cloistered girl right now, preferring to relax off to herself; but a new companion with a loving heart is going to make Smokey’s “golden years” happy and comfortable.  Smokey is about 10 years old and will be grateful when the shelter’s surgical team gets her spayed soon.  Won’t you help Smokey to enjoy her senior years in comfort and security?

Juicy (ID #6026364) is a quiet and relaxed feline with beautiful bright green eyes.  She is listed as a grey tabby but looks mixed pretty evenly with a brown tabby!  Juicy was found by a compassionate person who didn’t want the dangers of the street to harm her.  She is about 1 ½ years old and will soon visit with our veterinarians to be spayed.  Juicy is a big girl with a big heart.  She just needs someone special to share her life with.

Lufa (ID #5368079) turned her back on me when I came to her and walked away; as if to question “what was I doing in her space”!  She is an independent girl and not one to come seeking out attention.  She is a big girl who has a black and brown tortoiseshell coat.  She is in early adulthood at about 1 ½ years old.  She came to us via Animal Control and she will be spayed as part of her adoption fee.

SBF is looking for dependability, loyalty and commitment.  Previous “significant other” dropped her at the shelter because of personal problems.  She goes by the name Soot (ID #5375037).  She is attentive but calm and quiet.  Soot is hoping to find a lifetime of love and devotion from her new partner.  She is just over 5 years old now with numerous years to be there for you.  She was previously spayed and is ready to go home with you now.

Robert (ID #4720694) thought he was being deputized as police backup, but found out they were his ride into the shelter.  The officers found Robert and didn’t want harm to come to this boy.  He was treated for ear mites when he came, but since then, he has been enjoying stretching out in cool comfort.  Robert had a previous owner at some point as he was already neutered.  He is mostly black with white markings and is about 2 years old.  Give Robert back a home where there is love and care for his well being.

Your day always goes better with Sunshine (ID #5817829) and this boy is ready to bring the sunshine to you.  Sunshine is a 3 ½ year old orange tabby that was spotted by an alert Animal Control officer.  Not wanting harm to come to him, he was brought to the shelter for safety and a chance at finding his permanent home.  Sunshine is being a trooper and doing his part to help control the animal population by being neutered soon.  Won’t you bring Sunshine into your home today.

One of the volunteers is very impressed with what a great cat Sunshine is. He likes to be held and is so gentle. He may be the best lap cat ever.

Mitzy (ID #5357580) was curious about who woke her from her nap as she tries to wake up.  She is a light colored brown tabby with white markings on her chest and paws.  Mitzy was eager for love and attention once she woke up; she was surrendered because they didn’t have time to spend with her.  She is just now 1 year old and will soon be spayed.  Can you fulfill the need Mitzy has for affection and acceptance?

“You just call out my name, and you know wherever I am, I’ll come running…” because she is your Buddy (ID #4836806).  Poor little Buddy got surrendered with the reason listed as “the neighbor’s complaints”.  Buddy is a friendly girl that shows some curiosity when you approach her door.  She is a black and orange tortoiseshell that is now 2 ½ years old.  Buddy will soon be spayed as part of her adoption fee.  Remember, she’ll be there for you; can you be here for her?

Lollipop (ID #5392260) got her name because she is such a sweetie.  She was found by a caring person who couldn’t keep her.  Lollipop is serene in her kennel and is gentle when you interact with her.  She is a tuxedo black and white and she is now 2 ½ years old.  Front paws are delcalwed! Lollipop is making her contribution to control the pet population by being spayed soon.  This is one Lollipop that will last you for years!

Hi Ho Silver (ID #5367823).  Silver will come to your rescue  when you need someone to turn to or just want some companionship.  She is docile and calm, but did enjoy having a toy to swat around a little bit too.  Silver is a lovely solid grey and she is just over 1 year old.  Silver has also been spayed so that she doesn’t contribute to the counties number of unwanted pets.

Moo Shoo (ID #5578672) didn’t want to hold still long enough for her photo, she really wanted some attention.  Moo Shoo was surrendered due to landlord issues and all of them hated to be parted.  She had received responsible care and was even spayed prior to coming to the shelter.  Moo Shoo is a doting brown tabby that needs the comfort and security of a loving companion.  Is it you she is waiting for?

Rue (ID #5801589) seems to have class and pride in the way she projects herself.  She shares her kennel nicely with Velcro without any problems.  She likes to get some attention, but doesn’t seem to be one that needs the constant interaction with her person.   She is a black and tan tortoiseshell that is only 1 ½ years old and will be getting spayed very soon.  We don’t know how long Rue had her previous home, but she was surrendered when she didn’t get along with other pets, yet she is doing fine her at the shelter with other cats.

Jessica (ID #5515309) looks expectantly at you as she was hoping to see someone coming to love on her.  She was surrendered when her previous owner moved away, so she is missing her routine and the affection only an owner brings.  She is a black and orange tortoiseshell that is 1 ½ years old.  Soon Jessica won’t have to worry about bearing any kittens because she will be spayed.

Mikey (ID #5586546) and Sebastian (ID #5586526) are two of the litter that was brought in and surrendered when they had no home.  The boys are both black and white and can get into some fun playtime at 5 months old.  Sebastian is the one sitting up on the right and Mikey is lying down on the left.  When I was trying to shoot a photo of another sibling they considerately jumped up out of the way for me.

Elvira (ID #4272969) is deliberate and leisurely in her pursuit of satisfying her curiosity; her nature is not to be rushed.  She is a 2 year old grey tabby that must have had a home at one time, as she was already spayed when she arrived at the shelter. Animal Control was called to bring her in from a veterinarian’s office in the eastern part of the county where she was found.  Elvira will be a contented member of the family when you take her home.

Jewel (ID #5498961) must have lost her owner and they did not come looking for her.  She was brought into the shelter by a considerate person who found her.  We named her appropriately as she is so sweet, gentle and calmly loving that she truly is a Jewel.  She is black in a long haired coat and she is 3 years old.  She will soon be spayed and never have to worry about the safety of any kittens again

Tulula (ID #5387228) thought she’d take a swat at the toy, but wasn’t interested enough to get up and go for it.  She is more calm and relaxed in her nature.  Tulula is solid black, 1 ½ years old and she has just been spayed.  She gets along with her kennelmate nicely so she may make a nice companion for your current feline.

Barley (ID #6094813) had just been waiting for someone to come along with something to entertain him with.  He had a great time pawing and jumping at the feathers.  A kindhearted lady found Barley on the street corner and brought him in for his own safety.  He is a grey tabby that is now 6 months old and he will soon be neutered.  Barley will bring some laughter, fun and love into your heart and home.

Fun, spunky and play educated, Silver (ID #5605745) is always on the lookout for a good time.  This girl was surrendered to the shelter because they had too many animals.  Now Silver has been spayed so that she can not add anymore unwanted litters to the community.  She is a lovely grey and tan tortie that is 2 years old.  She is going to bring laughter and entertainment to your home.

Who doesn’t love Pooh (ID #6184583)?  He is a handsome calm couch potato that doesn’t let much bother him.  He is just beautiful in his long cream and grey coat and blue eyes, and he is a pretty good size boy for only 10 months old.  Pooh was well cared for and previously neutered, but was reluctantly surrendered when his owner was moving.   Now Pooh is hoping you can give him a caring permanent home.
